My husband and I have been on the search for quick, healthy lunches and snacks to accommodate our busy schedules. After some failed attempts with the bigger name healthy subscription meals, we stumbled across Lean Kitchen in McKinney. It's our second week of getting meals and we are hooked! This is exactly what we have been looking for. Good portions, well balanced meals, and food that actually tastes good (I am picky). Everything is heated up in the microwave for 60-90 seconds and super convenient. They also offer free delivery to your door step for no additional charge (assuming you are in the zip code range). Lastly, they have great customer service. All the of meals are great but the muscle bites and honey garlic chicken and asparagus are my favorites! Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon lean kitchen today and WoW! We had a wonderful chat and the explanation of what the meal options were. Not only do they have prepared meals, which are delicious we had Korean bbq and sweet and sour chicken! Amazing 🔥 The protein donuts are fantastic and we bought them for our kids before they have their sports tournament. Also I found the protein pop-tart in some new flavors! Plus a good assortment of protein powder and supplements for a healthy lifestyle. Amazing place!

These are some of the best homemade meals I've ever had! Super easy to keep in your fridge and taste great after heating it in the microwave. I am SO THANKFUL that I found Lean Kitchen. The food is fresh, delicious and healthy -- exactly what I need as a working mom with two toddlers. I've tried other food prep services in the past and either the food wasn't that healthy or frozen with preservatives. There is always stock on the weeknds and I've enjoyed trying new dishes they launch.

This place is a great local shop to get high-quality prepped meals! The owner was very nice and helpful when finding meals that fit my high-protein nutrition plan. Both the buffalo chicken and Korean BBQ meals that I tried were very good!

I recently picked up food for my wife, and we tried the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos and the Buffalo Ranch Cauliflower Bowl. My wife absolutely loved the food! Although the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality and taste definitely made it worth it. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely be returning to try more of their menu!

Hello! Our names are Chris and Jeana Penny. We have been married for sixteen years with 3 children. Bryce is our oldest son. Emmy is a student at the University of Mississippi and majoring in Marketing and Communications. Dax is the youngest of the crew and keeps everyone on their toes. We are so excited to be the FIRST Lean Kitchen Co in Texas. In June of 2023 we relocated to McKinney to open our business because we believe in the purpose and value of what LK has to offer. Between the two of us, we have over 40 years of serving the community. Chris retired as a Captain from the Sulphur Springs Fire Department in July of 2025 after 22+ years of service in order to work the business with Jeana full time. And Jeana recently retired as a public educator/high school counselor with 23 years of experience in order to operate our business full-time. Our family is passionate about healthy lifestyle and understands that, at the foundation, is healthy eating and supplements. We are no stranger to how a busy family schedule and work life can derail you from your plans and goals. That is why we are so passionate about helping you stay on track!!
